CANNONBALL COMES ROLLING HOME - (Homecoming) - A Jazz Windows event

As Daniel Susnjar, Troy Roberts and Konrad Paszkudzki are all currently studying at the University of Miami in Florida, they decided to put together a ‘tribute’ to the great alto saxophonist, Cannonball ‘Julian’ Adderley - who was born in the state of Florida in 1928 and who died of a stroke at the age of forty-seven.
Cannonball’s blues soaked tone and the hard swinging delivery of his alto lines helped keep jazz before an audience at a time when it was losing listeners.
This homage to Cannonball Adderley will feature:
Troy Roberts (alto saxophone), Konrad Paszkudzki (Hammond organ) and Daniel Susnjar (drums).
