TWO HORNS. Two rhythms. Endless possibilities.
Dylan Hooper's Quartet, Waxwork, is a young ensemble seeking to push the compositional and textural boundaries of the chordless quartet. Dynamic original compositions blend with re-interpretations of classic material, blurring the distinctions between improvised and arranged, melody and harmony, into a maelstrom of ebullient sound.
Waxwork are: Dylan Hooper (tenor saxophone), Sean Little (tenor saxophone) Robin Murray (acoustic bass), Pete Evans (drums).
