SAX player Brandon Allen leads tonight's show with Russell Holmes (piano), Matt Willis (bass), and Mike Perkins (drums) with a set of original compositions and some standard repertoire.
Based in London for almost ten years, Brandon has used proximity to the continent to play extensively in Europe and the near east, appearing throughout Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, France, Spain, Holland, Denmark, Austria, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates.
UK performances include those with Eric Clapton, Mica Paris, Ronnie Cuber, Jools Holland, Carleen Anderson, Guy Barker, Stan and Clark Tracey.
Tribute
`Brandon Allen is arguably the most exciting tenor player in Britain today. His phrasing is unashamedly emotional, soaked in the blues tradition.'
Tony Hall (Jazzwise)
