Stevie Wonder The ultimate soundtrack
Consummate entertainer James Flynn presents a bold musical tribute to global superstar Stevie Wonder, powered by the impressive seven piece Funk Fraternity Show Band and featuring WA favourite Flynn and top flight performer Chelsea Gibson.
For this concert version of their recent, successful, musical the two singers are backed by Paul Pooley (bass), Lukas Slawomirski (keyboards), Garry Lee (guitar), Chris Tarr (drums), Paul Millard (sax), Adrian Kelly (trumpet) and Freddy Poncin (percussion).
Performed on the night will be such hits as My Cherie Amour, Superstition, Sir Duke, Master Blaster, You are the Sunshine of my Life, and Lately plus many more classics. The show is an incredible soundtrack spanning four decades to delight new audiences as well as those who well recall the years when Stevie Wonder first introduced them to an eager world.
James Flynn has worked as an entertainment industry professional for two decades. He has released six CDs, and has toured and performed at festivals throughout the UK, Europe and Australia. In addition to countless stage and television appearances, he has been the support artist for the late, great, Ray Charles, Martin Taylor, Tommy Emanuel, James Morrison and Demis Roussos.
Professional musician, Australian Idol 2003, top twenty, semi finalist and former opening act for The Black Eyed Peas, Chelsea Gibson, supports James in this concert version of his highly regarded musical.
