WAMi FESTIVAL CONCERT presenting BORROWED BLUE Johannes Luebbers Quartet

This evening is a concert hosted by the Perth Jazz Society for the Western Australian Music Industry Association (WAMi) and will feature artists selected by WAM as representatives of the Jazz Industry in the 2009 Awards. BORROWED BLUE, a quartet led by Johannes Luebbers (keyboard) and featuring Callum G’Froerer (trumpet), Brett Thompson (guitar), Ben Falle (drums) with a guest appearance by Callum Moncrieff (vibraphone). New, young musos blended with established jazz talent from Western Australia, with the emphasis on original repertoire. The WAMi Festival is in it’s 18th year of celebrating original contemporary music throughout Perth and regional WA.
